The Canadian Gas Association (CGA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Dall’Antonia, President and Chief Executive Officer of FortisBC Inc. & Fortis BC Energy Inc. (collectively FortisBC), as the association’s new Chair of the Board of Directors.
Roger Dall’Antonia takes over as Chair of the Board from D. Jason Sharpe, President, ATCO Gas & Pipelines. Jason led the board through a particularly busy time in the natural gas delivery industry, with CGA and its subsidiary CGA Enterprises hosting two significant global conferences, launching several major campaigns, and witnessing significant sector growth. Jason also helped shape the strategic planning for the association to guide it through the next five years.
FortisBC is British Columbia’s largest energy provider, serving over 1.2 million customers with safe, reliable, and affordable energy, including natural gas, renewable and low-carbon gases and electricity. Since joining FortisBC in 2004, Roger has held several leadership roles throughout the organization, including executive oversight of customer service and technology, regulatory affairs, strategic planning and corporate development, finance and treasury. Mr. Dall’Antonia holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at Western University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
